ABOUT

My husband and I moved to Somerset, from Berkshire, in September 2019, just before we had our first daughter. He helped open a new restaurant, as their Head Chef, 2 months later we had Aurora, and 3 months after that the whole world went in to lockdown as a result of the global pandemic. Not the best timing to move away from all of our friends and family. 

It has definitely been an interesting start to parenthood, and not what I could have ever imagined. But I wouldn't change it. All the extra time we had together as a result of restaurants closing was immeasurable and I felt pretty cheated that we didn't get the same with our second daughter! And then there were two of them and one of me, the majority of the time! 

We are now finding our groove, and the hard times are hard, but my god, the good times are good.
